First of all, let me begin with the basic gameplays in Rise of Nations.
The following are the gameplays in the game:
- Offensive Gameplay : It is basically attacking. Creating a suitable army and attacking. It also includes raiding in it. Raiding is the act of killing villagers, caravans, merchants, fishing ships and destroying economical buildings which will kill your opponents economy.
- Defensive Gameplay : It is basically booming. Booming is the act of capping a suitable economy of food, wood, metal, wealth and knowledge which gives you an advantage over your opponent.
An ideal gameplay should be a balance of offence and defence.
